ISLAM IN SOUTH KOREA: THE FORMATION OF A MUSLIM COMMUNITY

Abstract

In recent years, there has been significant research interest in the place of Muslim community among other religious communities in South Korea. Despite the prominent role of Islam in the world, the religion is not widespread in South Korean society. However, it is obvious that it is only temporary. The article attempts to examine the place of Islam in South Korea and its relationship with other religions in the country.
