The article examines the characteristics of the relationship
between Japan and the United Arab Emirates at present. Attention is paid to
the political, economic and cultural ties between Japan and the UAE,
especially cooperation in energy and joint peaceful space development. It is
noted that in the UAE there is a growing interest in the history and traditions
of Japan, in learning the Japanese language.
