The integration of Islam and its bearers into the system
of social relations of a country that has never had an indigenous
Moslem population is a complex, multilateral process that includes
institutional, political, legal, cultural and social aspects. In this article,
attention will be paid exclusively to the formal side of the issue, i.e. the
institutions of integration, the main of which is the Islamic Conference
of Germany under the auspices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of
Germany.
