At the present stage, the problems of population migration remain relevant. At the same time, the experience of the Russian Federation and Central Asian countries is important. The article examines the typology of migration, its state regulation, the attitude of Moslem religious organizations to the adaptation and integration of migrants into the host Russian society, the spheres of labor activity of Moslem migrants, the problems they face. Special attention is paid to the qualifications and education of migrants.
