This analytical review presents the work of Turkish and
Hungarian experts on the development of the defense sector in Turkey and its
role in ensuring the national and regional security of the state. The impact of
the growth of the defense industry on the conduct of foreign policy and foreign
economic activity, as well as the possible impact of the military-industrial complex
(the policy of “Bayraktars”) on the status of the Republic of Turkey is noted.
