The article considers Islamophobia, its historically
determined origins, a complex historical path of development, the
current state and possible vectors of leveling the challenges, risks and
threats to the country's national security associated with this
phenomenon as a type of xenophobia in Russia. The conclusion is that
such a task is within the power of Russian society and the state.
